Incoming Insurance

With our Incoming Insurance the temporary tourist stay of foreign visitors in Germany of a host country (EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) is covered.

Please note: This insurance applies to tourist travel in Germany and host countries.

2. Single Medical Insurance "Incoming-Krankenversicherung mit medizinischer Notfall-Hilfe

The maximum travel period is 93 days.

Medical Insurance for Foreign Visitors (part O)
with Medical Emergency Assistance (part D)*

In the case of illness or accident, we will pay costs including

- necessary treatments in the host country,
- medically reasonable evacuation to the place of residence in the home country.

Our emergency call centre is open 24 hours a day for emergencies.

The excess is EUR 100 for each loss event for treatment costs in the host country.

Travel Accident Insurance (part H)

Cover is provided for accidents in the host country that lead to permanent disablement or death.

Insured sums:

for death EUR 10,000 / children up to and including 14 years EUR 5,000

for invalidity EUR 20,000

Personal Liability Insurance for Travel (part J)

Cover is provided for liability risks (personal and property damage) during the insured stay.

Limit of indemnity: EUR 500,000 flat rate

The excess is EUR 150 for each insured event in the case of property damage.

*The insurance cover meets all the requirements of the decision by the Council of the European Union dated 22 December 2003 (2004 / 17 / EC) relating to a Schengen Visa.

The insurance conditions of Europäische Reiseversicherung AG (VB-ERV 2006) define the insurance cover.
